Wednesday’s attack in our Capitol happened because of the direct incitement of President Trump, seditious representatives, and the silence of others. Therefore, we demand the impeachment and removal of Trump from office immediately.
What we saw was an attack on our country, on our people, brought on by a president who refuses to accept that millions of people turned out to stand with and for each other and elect new leadership by overwhelming margins. We demand bold action immediately to hold those complicit in inciting the attack accountable and to make this country a true democracy, where the will of the people determines the actions of our leaders and where our government cares for us all.
