Forces outside of North Carolina are organizing to restrict voter access in your community. These efforts are part of a nationwide wave of election denial and administrative criticism.

Last week, North Carolina lawmakers introduced a major elections bill (SB 747) that will dramatically restrict voter access to the ballot and remove popular voting methods used by North Carolinians of all political backgrounds.

RSVP to our virtual regional coalition meeting THIS FRIDAY to learn what this bill would mean for Central Piedmont and what we can do about it.

What is the Democracy Coalition? Our Local Coalition brings together organizational representatives and individuals who agree to work together to change and use the political system so it equips people to take action, promotes grassroots leadership, and serves “the good of the whole.” We want an elections process that is accessible, fair, and secure. And we want a government “of, by, and for the people,” that fosters equity, solidarity, and justice.
