Senate Bill 747, the monster election “omnibus” bill, reverses years of election law in our state. S747 attacks absentee and mail-in voting by removing the 3-day grace period for mailed ballots and turns same-day registration ballots cast during Early Voting into provisional ballots, delaying election results, among other concerns.
