2020 could be a recipe for disaster, with newly formed voter suppression tactics. So we are fighting back! We are working to bring back Early Voting flexibility, so that working voters can more easily cast their ballots. We can’t afford to add any more confusion around voting in such an important year.
You can help us get through to our lawmakers by getting more citizens signed onto this. We are holding two phonebank events this month, before our interns drop off thousands of these petitions with our lawmakers in Raleigh. RSVP below to attend one of our phonebanks to get more supporters!
WHAT: Stand Up for Early Voting Phonebanks
WHEN: Wednesday, June 19 and Monday, June 24, both 6:00 – 8:00 PM
WHERE: Conference rooms on the bottom floor of the United Way (50 S. French Broad Ave. #245 Asheville, NC 28801)
We’ll have an optional training for folks at 5:30 pm. Either way, please arrive 15 minutes early to get acquainted. Food will be provided!
