Join us for our #FairMapsNC Redistricting Canvass in Canton on Sunday, September 24 at 2 PM.
We will show our legislators that their constituents want fair maps by going door to door in Canton to collect postcards in favor of a fair redistricting process.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself as needed (bathroom, sunscreen, water, etc.). It may be a good idea to have a small bag to carry sunscreen and water because your hands will be full with a clipboard and materials. Wear comfortable shoes/clothes and DON’T FORGET: No partisan gear!

WHEN: Sunday, September 24, 2:00 – 5:00 PM
WHERE: Haywood Public Library (11 Pennsylvania Ave, Canton, NC 28716)
*If coming from Asheville, and would like to carpool, meet at 2:00 PM at the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County (50 South French Broad Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801)
Schedule for the Day:
- 2:00 PM – If carpooling from Asheville, meet at the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County
- 2:30 PM – If meeting directly in Canton, meet at the Haywood Public Library
- 2:30-3:00 PM – Mini Training on door-to-door canvassing
- 3:00-5:00 PM – Canvassing door to door
