Following the second-longest legislative session in North Carolina’s history which saw more redistricting, more extreme proposals, and more changes to how and when we vote, you finally get the chance to address your legislative delegation directly and draw the line between those who were for the issues you care about and not. Join us for the “Draw the Line” Sandhills Town Hall on Monday, December 9, at 6 p.m.
WHAT: “Draw the Line” Sandhills Town Hall
WHEN: Monday, December 9, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: The Pate Room at the Cumberland County Public Library (300 Maiden Ln, Fayetteville, NC 28301)
During this 60-minute town hall, plus Q&A, you’ll get to:
- learn from experts about the most controversial bills proposed in 2019, including changes to voting access, attacks on immigrants, and a dishonest state budget;
- hear from your lawmakers about how they voted and why; and
- ask questions of those in attendance about these issues and reforms you’d like to see.
RSVP below to let us know you’ll be there! If you have any questions, please contact Jen Jones at 919-260-5906 or jen@democracync.org.
