Please join us for the last Democracy Asheville Coalition Meeting of 2017 on Monday, November 27.
Wow. We can’t believe this year is already over! With record turnout in Buncombe county for our local municipal election, thousands of WNC residents engaged in our redistricting petition campaign, and dozens of great trainings and events– let’s reflect!
We want to hear from you about what worked and what didn’t, what we should pursue next year, and brainstorm potentials for building and collaboration in 2018.
We’ll have snacks and refreshments.

What is the Democracy Asheville Coalition? Our Local Coalition brings together organizational representatives and individuals who agree to work together to change and use the political system so it equips people to take action, promotes grassroots leadership, and serves “the good of the whole.” We want an elections process that is accessible, fair, and secure. And we want a government “of, by, and for the people,” that fosters equity, solidarity, and justice.
