The Chatham County Board of Elections plans to take up Early Voting options for the March 2020 Primary Election on Tuesday, November 19, at 5:30 p.m., at The Board of Elections Office: 984 Thompson St. Suite D, Pittsboro, NC 27312 (The Office is located 1.1 miles East of the Courthouse Circle on the North side of Business 64. Turn at the sign for Platinum Commons. The Office is located behind Miracle Ear).
This meeting may not only impact when and where folks in your county can vote early, but also determine whether you will experience longer lines and more confusion on Primary Election Day. This is your chance to ask the Board for good Early Voting options in 2020, including:
- good satellite voting locations that serve underrepresented voters throughout the 17-day Early Voting period including those serving communities of color; and
- robust weekend hours for working voters over the 17-day Early Voting period, including the first Saturday.
RSVP below to let us know you’ll be there! Don’t forget to confirm the BOE meeting date and time before you attend at 919-545-8500.
