On Tuesday, November 12, at 1 p.m., the Cumberland County Board of Elections plans to take up Early Voting options for the March 2020 Primary Election. The Board will meet at 227 Fountainhead Ln., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
This meeting may not only impact when and where Cumberland County can vote early, but also determine whether the County will experience longer lines and more confusion on Primary Election Day.
Attend the meeting and ask the Board to create Early Voting plans that include more weekend hours and accessible polling locations, including:
- a convenient location for Fayetteville State University students at the Smith Recreation Center;
- good satellite voting locations that serve underrepresented voters throughout the 17-day Early Voting period including those serving communities of color; and
- robust weekend hours over the 17-day Early Voting period, including at least one day of Sunday voting.
RSVP below to let us know you’ll be there! Don’t forget to confirm the BOE meeting date and time before you attend at 910-678-7733.
